How to Transfer Money from an Indian Overseas Bank to Any Bank Using RTGS & NEFT

  • Choose “Fund Transfer,” then “Other Bank- RTGS & NEFT,” and then “Proceed” to continue.
  • Type in the information requested in the “Pay from,” “Transfer money to,” “sender information,” and “amount” fields. After entering the aforementioned information, click the “Proceed” button.
  • Enter the “Transfer Pin” and choose “Transfer Money”
  • Fill out the OPT, and the transaction will then be processed.

The Indian Overseas Bank’s Beneficiary Registration Process

  • Sign in to the IOB website.
  • Indicate your username and password.
  • Choose “Add Payee” from the “Remittances” option on the menu.
  • Next select “Other Bank Account.”
  • Enter the beneficiary’s information, including name, address, account type, account number, and IFSC code. Once the information is filled out, select “Confirm.”
  • After entering OPT, press “Approve Payee.” A 24-hour timeframe will be given for the payee to become active.
